Since 2005 the Centre has been supporting the University of the West Indies (UWI) Climate Change-related and Environmental Studies (CERMES) graduate programme in the following areas by providing:Since 2005 the Centre has been supporting the University of the West Indies (UWI) Climate Change-related and Environmental Studies (CERMES) graduate programme in the following areas by providing:

  1. Two graduate scholarships per year to the Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies (CERMES), Cave Hill, Barbados (US$300,000)
  2. Field research in Belize for an average of ten (10) CERMES students per year (US$400,000)
  3. Support to the Climate Studies Group at Mona, Jamaica (US$300,000)
  4. Post doctoral research fellowships (US$100,000)
